RISE Network - Office Construction

SW19 Pty Ltd were engaged to design and construct the interior office fit out of a 320m2 tilt up panel commercial unit on behalf of a social housing provider. The layout was required to accommodate a number of separate teams, delivering unique services, along with suitable conference facilities.

The initial challenge was to liaise with the Local Authority regarding the Planning Approval, with parking on site limited, and the client requiring up to 30 staff on site at any one time. Following negotiations with the Planning Officer, we were able to achieve the require outcome.

The layout of the unit was such that the only natural light was sourced from the front elevation. The final design incorporated roof light sheets to provide natural lighting throughout, and glazing the roller door entry, whilst retaining and motorising the door for security.

The timeline was critical to the client, who’d had arranged a ministerial opening prior to commencement of the works. The schedule was therefore micromanaged to ensure a continuous flow of trades on site, enabling the project to be delivered within 6 weeks from commencement on site.

The completed project included a 90m2 mezzanine floor, two conference rooms with operable wall between for flexibility, a large central staff break out area and open plan area to the rear.
